Comprehensive Database of African Counter-Terrorism Law and Policy
30 September 2010

Released on 30 September 2010 by the International Crime in Africa Programme (ICAP) of the ISS, the database (which is also available on CD-ROM) contains the most updated and comprehensive collection of African counter-terrorism legislation and related laws, policies and relevant regional/international instruments and technical assistance and training manuals.

The database, which will be updated periodically in this online version, forms part of ICAP’s broader set of African counter-terrorism and international criminal justice training tools. It was developed with law enforcement and criminal justice practitioners in mind and is an easily accessible and user-friendly resource. As an African initiative it complements existing international resources like the counter-terrorism database maintained by the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime.

This comprehensive database was made possible with funding from

Royal Netherlands Government
The Norwegian Government
