As the world’s most advanced supranational organisation, the EU has recently made some decisive moves towards integrating Europe’s foreign policies. Ambassador Olof Skoog will set out the latest developments in the EU foreign and security policy since the appointment of High Representative Catherine Ashton and the establishment of the External Action Service. He will elaborate on the EU's role and policy in the Middle East, including in Syria, and in Africa.
